on the superstreet web site a while ago I saw a red RSX rc sold by radio for $99 that goes 147mph is this to scale or what this was probally around agust when I saw it.
i work there. i play with that rsx on a daily basis. fun car, very easy handling. but nowhere near that speed. id say about 15 with a good battery. but im not a rc geek, in fact im a bit of a n00b to this shit so my estimation may be off. im sure they can be upgraded after seeing some of the shit you guys are doing to them.
do the math
1500ft/min * 60min/hr = 90,000ft/hr / 5280ft/mi = 17mph

its scale for sure. the fastest rc is a 1/10th scale that runs off of about 20 D batts. it does 110 for about a minute on a full charge.
its around 16 mph
It is scale speed. About 1300 feet per minute if I remember right.
147mph... are you sure i dont think an electric motor can produce that sort of speed. Unless its not an electric motor...
