i heard that the 104 caps are better then the stock caps on the xmod motors and i was wondering were i can get the 104 caps for my new motor that i am building.

i picked up a bag of 100 caps off ebay for 5bucks and 2.50 shipping.
they are 103's. they work great.

here's the auction. there's 93 bags of 20 caps left. enough for every xmodder in the forums.

Thanks for the info i have not thought to check frys. I forgot that they have a wide selection of elctronic parts

A 104 capacitor is merely a 100,000 pF or 0.1 uF capacitor. Look for that value at RS. Last time I checked they had them, but were of an odd size.

Also, you won't get ANY benefits from switching to 104 capacitors at all.

If you live in CA, Fry's Electronics definitely has a variety of them.

Does anyone know if i can get 104 caps at radio shack or do i have to order them online. I looked at my local hobby shops and they dont carry them.

I don't know if they are better or not, but all the motor builders seem to use them so...I got a couple from teammnm.net, but they are pricey. I'd suggest on omline wholesaler of electronic stuff.
