I just got back from radio shack and i bought a capacitor for my motor and it was not 104 but 104m on it. Here are its specs:

0.1uF
50 WVDC
+-20% Tolerance
Operating Temp: -25C to +85○C

Will it work if i put it on a motor i am making? Thanks a lot,

yea, it'll work. Just makre sure you observe polarity (if it's marked).

Re: 104m capacitor

Im not asking if it will increase performance, i am asking if it will work on a motor that i am making.

Re: 104m capacitor

Personally, I wouldn't use it. mainly because it's rated to work with higher voltage applications. the xmods are nowhere near 50v. So I doubt you'd see a difference.

personally i'd go with a cap that's rated for 16v.
