does anyone know where I can get the spec on a Kyosho XSpeed V motor as far as rpms and stuff? This is the motor that I run in my full modded chassis

this is what it looks like

Re: Motor specs

Since there is no further real information coming, I'm going to pull the plug on this one.

ph2t has nicely given the 50 turn information, now we can stop with the "my xmod blah blah blah"

xmods: my car would have absolutely no trouble eating your car for lunch. Not only will it beat yours off the line, but will be at least three seconds ahead of yours at the finish line. ;)

you idiot......

as for the original question. The Mini-Z xspeed motor is a 50 turn motor. If you want specs then goto www.mini-zracer.com and SEARCH the forums there....

Re: Motor specs

yeah, stage 1 and 2 are NOT that fast. They label themselves that fast but if you compare it to other motors.... they dont. speedy 05 does 28k-29, the atomic does ~30k. The atomic has a 47T armature vs the 50T armature from the xspeed. Judging from that, It should be aroudn 28k-29k. Whatever it is thouhg.. do not make the stupid assumption that stage1 can do 30k or 31k or whatever it is that they clame. Those IIRC come with 60+ turn armatures. One of them i remember counting almost 70 or perhaps higher. (higher turns means more torque and less top end)

Re: Motor specs

Nivlac was refering to the armature winds...I don't think the Xspeed is 50000rpm. I have one in my MA010 and its fast but not outstanding.

Re: Motor specs

Re: Motor specs

xspeed is a 50T motor. I dont remember RS's but it shouldnt be anythign like a stage 2.

Re: Motor specs

Well I think it is better then that. My buddys stage 2 cant keep up with me with the same gear.

Re: Motor specs

Same specs as RS Stage 2; perhaps marginally better wire.
