what are the capacitors solded on xmods motors???

Seriously just a guess... but every single reputed motor maker (PN, Atomic, Teammnm, Flash, etc.) uses 103 or 104 caps on Xmod or Mini-Z motors.

From what I have found out, larger caps work just as well, but they are overkill. 103's and 104's are the minimum I believe.

I believe (totally unconfirmed) that the 103/104 caps match the frequency "crap" that is generated by the brush arcing.

Seriously just a guess... but every single reputed motor maker (PN, Atomic, Teammnm, Flash, etc.) uses 103 or 104 caps on Xmod or Mini-Z motors.

any cap will do the job. just the 103 or 104 are smaller.

STOP!!!!

If you don't want the life of your motor to be 5x sped up (kill the motor 5x faster)...
OR
Risk jamming your radio system, and needing a new Xmod.

Then get 103 or 104 caps. :wink:

to filter out the electrical "noise" of the motor. w/out them, the motor causes interference with the car.
