Sounds like you blew a winding stack connection...pretty awesome work there. :lol:I guess it's not for sale anymore.
I called it!
As a sidenote, you are free to start that thread you had discussed in your pm...just be very specific in your opening.
This armature is --done for (lol)...
The motor wire, tore through part of the armature itself...
The motor wire, was actually fried, and brown/burnt, and torn up, in spots.
This SUCKS. 8O
Here are some pictures...

Here is the best, that I could get of the U-clip (my camera couldn't find it, and wouldn't focus on it... :? )

HOLY CRAP! 8O
I was investigating this, even further...
I noticed, how THICK whatever was sticking out of the hole was...
I tried pulling on it, extremely hard (stoopid)...and got nothing...so, I cliped the end of it off...and I could spin the armature, just a little, with the needle-nose-plier, and I noticed that it's not connected to the armature...
Here's what happened:
It had SO much lubrication, that the magnetic force, PULLED THE U-CLIP, FROM THE BOTTOM (opposite from the top side, with the venting holes)...AND LITERALLY, BENT AROUND THE ARMATURE! 8O 8O 8O
That, is weird...
--Oh crap, I just noticed, that now, the magnets are STUCK to the armature!...
I have the U-clip out, but need help...or advice, on what to do, now...

Will do...maybe tonight...
Anyway...here is the PM that Mike sent me...not-to-long-ago...
[quote:c9153ac3ac="PerformanceXmods"]Hey,
Was scrolling on the forum and found your topic. If you're interested in a replacement armature, I can sell you one for $15 bucks shipped. Also, did you read the instructions that were included with the motor? They specifically state not to free spin the motor above 6.0V because the motor spins at a tremendous RPM. The motor needs to connected to geared drive to spin at 7.4V.
Well...this wouldn't have happened, if I had gotten a manual with the motor, when I bought it from a random person on eBay.
Only $15, and I've already sent a positive answer back to him... :D
Thanks Mike!
