how to solder fileter cpas

Here's my issue.I solder the first leg of the cpas on the motor brush,but when i solder the second leg I really can't manage to solder them sticky on the motor can(as producers do with their aftermarket motors)
What can i do?
I have a 13W and a 40W soldering iron and normal soldering wire(1,5mm thick)

it would probably just start acting a little odd, since the caps filter electric noise which messes with the signal.

Could I have some seriuos trouble if a leg pop off the can while running?

Scuff up the section you want to solder with some sand paper, then it should stick good.

You can bend the leg, so it stays there and just drop some solder.
