fet heat distribution

if you do choose to go 2x5, you may have to consider the heat differential between the inner and outer fets. Without the ability to apply a heatsink to your build, you may find that you'll fry your inner fets, which would necessitate you disassembling the entire stack (it's happened to me). You may be better off going with an external fet board (turbo). Lets face it, speed costs money. How fast can you afford?

If you wanted to stop them from falling, wouldnt some hot glue help keep everything in place and if you ever wanted to take it off, you can peel the glue off. unless, the heat of the wires literally melted something, it should work right?

Re: motor fried 2x3 FETs

There's NO DOUBT that a 2x5 stack will handle it.
2x5 stack handles an X-2 Pro (12T armature)... 8O

I've had problems with 2x4+ stacks...
They tended to snap off for some odd reason; three times in a row. :?

I would recommend not going above 2x3 stacks of FETs.
Don't question the soldering job; it was done by -XCRL-, a pro.

gotta try it with 2x5 of FETs...
if it still gonna fried then guess no other choice but with external board.

Re: motor fried 2x3 FETs

You know a 2x3 stack is verry weak compared to external turbo. Just invest in External turbo, way better than stacked FETs
