i had the same the proble with my xmod when i was runnin 7.4v lipo :D , any ways, my solution was sparying wd-40 inside the can, while it was runnning, that seemed to stop for a while......a week- two weeks, but i ran it lipo full throttle chasings bikers, so it would hol up for you like...3 weeks, depending how much you frive it drove mine everday, twice a day, ya so just hold it up give it throttle and spray some wd-40 in there, dont use gasoline...... :D
Although that probably works, I would suggest you stop by your local hobby shop and pick up a bottle of comm drops/bearing oil. Something like the Trinity Royal Oil. However, using this excessivly will make your motor very dirty. When this stuff dries it turns into a black powder substance that sticks to everything and can make your motor gum up; which is why a motor requires maintenance and cleaning. ;)

i got a big problem i think. I see arching CONSTANTLY. As long as its running there is a glow. I think I need to ditch the rs motor stage 2 and go to maybe a different 45 turn motor. You guys suggesting any. Well my thing is crazyily glowing
There's really only one place for the motor to "glow" because of electrical arcing, and that is inside the endbell where I have explained. I have never heard of electrical arcing between the two pos. and neg. leads on the endbell cap itself (where the wires come from...). If that's happening, you have a magic motor my friend.
Are they supposed to? No, not really.
Will they sometimes? Yes, but it shouldn't ruin your motor.
The only reason they're glowing is probably because there is an electrical arc somewhere in your motor. More than likely between your brushes and your comm. (Both metal. Both conduct electricity. Boom, you have a spark. Hence, glowing motor.)
no, dont use the stuff, most people are to lazy to maitinence it, use this elctrical spay

Seriously dude, if it's older than 4 months, don't post. Just make a new thread.

and what about the glow from the 117 volts in the motor? That was a bright glow
...and what about the five motors that I've done on the 9V's that all had a bright blue glow in the endbells? -.-

on the under side of the motor it glows torads the back
And where does this glow seem to come from?
