I'm going to start racing my Civic. I hadn't cared/paid attention to the suspension since I took it off to slam it, the Civic was supposed to be just a "trailer queen" but my bro wants to race his against it.
I've put the shocks, and bearings in, but the front wheels "catch" every few revolutions, and I'll hear a click when it catches.
I have a question about the Evo. Does it accept the disc brakes from a gen 1? Is it faster than a gen 1 with a blue st1 motor?
the evos have a 25% increase on accelertion and a slighly higher top end but if use a stage 2 drag motor, red one, ur acceleration will be about the same and ur top end should be higher
Thanks everybody. You've helped immensly. I thought my suspension was shot, and since I had this for a while(not driving) I knew the return period has expired. Haha.
luckily I have 5 sets of rims, so I'll look through them and see which ones don't. I was trying to use the stock Si wheels in front.
For the gen 1, try different wheels, because some wheels have supporting ribs on the back that catch the calipers. If you still want to use the brake discs, look for wheels that do not have the ribs. I've had this problem before as well.
As for the usage of the discs on tHE Evo, no, they will not fit. They come with a set stock, so that is why they are the same size, front and rear.
I'm pretty sure the Evo will have a faster acceleration, but I've never raced the two together. Maybe....
Hope that answers your questions.
im not sure about revised versions, u seem to have the same as mine. teh front are larger and teh whole set came with the rims, once i found they were doing that i took the brakes off. i could see on the red "calipers" where the rim rubbed.
it might be different on the evos im not sure
and your welcome

Yes that was it. thanks.
Do they have a revised brake kit? I've seen some guys with front rotors that are the same size as the rear ones. The current ones completely fills the rims out.
if u have the brakes on the fron take them off, i had them on all the wheels but they sometimes pop up and hit the rim. same on the rear wheels too
