The worst problem i had was nose dive during acceleration

I swapped the springs out in the front with pickup springs from a guitar.
No more nose dive
I also added washers to the screws under the lower a-arms and the helped the toe out.
Another problem was the articulation in the rear.

This screw hole (lord knows what it was for) had 2 tabs on either side that prevented the rear from articulating like it should.
So I cut them off!
I also added a small body lift by using the plastic bearing and putting them between the rear body clip and the body.

And some tabs from the nerf bars to lift the front clip

okay i got the aoshima's and i can't get them to work with out rubbing on the suspension.Anyone got any suggestions?
I just got mine and had that problem, as well.
~Make sure that you're using stock knuckles.

Check out models and any toys you see. Ive seen some cool looking ones on toy tractors, but havent found the right one. I ended up going with some cooldragon tires which are hand casted by a guy in austria. I did have some pretty cool ones that looked good, but were a little too hard for my liking. If you are interested in them, I could send them to ya. They came on a hummer model kit and fit over the regular offroad tires. They would be great for regular driving, but I wanted soemthing a lot softer for crawling.
Link to pic with them on my hummer.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested, otherwise good luck on the search.
I wanted to make it bigger but I couldn't find big enough tires to make it look good.
Do you have any suggestions on where to get some?
I looked at walmart and the only ones I found that I liked where plastic not rubber.
I flip the clip around and put even more bearings in it lol.
Great tips!
That screw thing under the bed is where the body was screwed to the carrying case when it was new. I cut the whole thing out just now and it works awesome now!
Thank you!
John

^ Heres the kit that comes with two axles that are longer than the stock axles, giving you about 1.5mm offset or so.
I don't remember the kit coming with new axles, could you explain this a little more please?
I used the longer axles from the car steering kit when I ran xmod wheels. Ive converted my axles over to handling MiniZ AWD wheels now and use a wide offset to get the tires out away from the chassis.
I would suggest that you make sure the tire isn't pushed in, towards the chassis on the rim, and get metal bearing, if you don't already have them.
