the last time i check the only time its wrong is when the original company has it patented... so AM cant do jack about it... no offense to any AM guys...

Re: plastic stilleto chassis

I think It could be more useful to build a CF chassis for evo, taking some of the ideas of stilleto.
However there's very a little to copy,if anyone is gonig to build his own chassis he will surely build something similar to AM.There're in fact 2 holes on the front bulk and 2 on the rear.just decide if you want to leave the steering rod under the chassis or over, putting some spacers between chassis and mounting hole.

for the upper part I think there're a little more possibilities.

Re: plastic stilleto chassis

Oh, okay. I was just telling him to be careful because if the Stiletto is copyrighted/patented or something, he could get into some serious trouble with Rob and the law. It's happened before.

I don't think Rob at AM has any say, as someone has been selling copies of both his chassis' on Ebay for about 4 months now.... making a killin'.

Re: plastic stilleto chassis

This might sound stupid, but isn't the whole reason of buying a stilleto chassis to increase strength (through the use of metals)? Wouldnt a plastic version just be for looks?

Re: plastic stilleto chassis

Re: plastic stilleto chassis

I don't think there'd be any problem so long as he's not selling them.
