This is my Carbon fiber chassis. It has since been mounted on the car and the other two pictured have been upgraded. 1 with a Ti chassis and all GPM parts, V2.2. The lancer all rs ,2x2,ad motor, gpm drift tires, gpm wheels.
Careful, because AM might see that and get mad at you if you didn't ask them for the rights to make a plastic version of they're chassis.
the last time i check the only time its wrong is when the original company has it patented... so AM cant do jack about it... no offense to any AM guys...
yeah but i need the proper tools to do a cf chassis.. i dotn have them atm and im trying to purchase a new car so i cant buy stuff for xmods right now...
I think It could be more useful to build a CF chassis for evo, taking some of the ideas of stilleto.
However there's very a little to copy,if anyone is gonig to build his own chassis he will surely build something similar to AM.There're in fact 2 holes on the front bulk and 2 on the rear.just decide if you want to leave the steering rod under the chassis or over, putting some spacers between chassis and mounting hole.
for the upper part I think there're a little more possibilities.
Oh, okay. I was just telling him to be careful because if the Stiletto is copyrighted/patented or something, he could get into some serious trouble with Rob and the law. It's happened before.

I don't think Rob at AM has any say, as someone has been selling copies of both his chassis' on Ebay for about 4 months now.... making a killin'.
This might sound stupid, but isn't the whole reason of buying a stilleto chassis to increase strength (through the use of metals)? Wouldnt a plastic version just be for looks?
well i am workign on the stilleto first to see if the plastic holds up.. then im going to design my own chassis.. and eventually move to carbon fiber... right now i dont have a set of liths for myself. :(
im not sellign them and its not going to be completely liek the stilleto atomic has... i have some of my own ideas for it... plastic tubing might work out... ill see if i can find any. thanks for the tip!
note: this is a test to see how well it will work.. most people think it wont last.

nope. i use an exacto knife on all of my projects... i dont have a dremel.. if your going to try it with plastic get a hard plastic like they said..
im thinking about making one myself.... What are you using a dremel.
ahhh.... ive said it many times... this is just a test.....

No problem. You should take some time and research the kind of plastic you want to fulfull the needs of the chassis.
I would buy it off of you if you include a Lith kit

I don't think there'd be any problem so long as he's not selling them.
