I noticed tonight while working on my evo for a short time, that the chassis are quite wobbly. Some fix this with aluminum chassis, parts, etc...but I thought about making some sort of sub frame connector, just not sub frame.an SFC is used in real cars to stiffen the chassis, etc...it is simply a kind of web design of bars that are attached at different spots. I thought that this would be easy to make for an xmod. You would have a few small steel tubes, bent, etc...to make one. Has anyone thought of or made something like this? I am going to pick up some supplies tomorrow, and Ill see how far I get in a day or two.

Why did I think you would be the first to reply? :P
Anyway, I thinkit would be pretty cheap to make, maybe under $3 or so, and it would really help reduce chassis flex, not to mention it would put on little weight. Ill try it later and see if I can come up with something.
I think AMs stilleto chassis has some bars to correct that some.. not sure.
Id imagine you could have some connectors run from the rear end, along the chassis extenders, the EP cover, then finally something up front.
