did u ever watch TRUCKS? he had done a C10 Blazer, "BigBlaze". same body style, metallic orange paint, looked sweet. then sold, and ran down from owner to owner losing more and more of its parts. :cry: eventualy it ended up here in houston. i saw it awhile back, gotta pic, sent it to stacey. he was bettin that was it. poor thing was in crap state.

maybe a white, and candy red two tone, red on top the belt line, white below.

Sorry for taking so long to reply- i've been with the family !!! they're in LA for 2 weeks so that's why i've been off track. yeah, i saw that electromagnetic thing, too messy for me. i dunno, maybe itll never happen. anywho, i meant like old school hot rod flames, you know? i dont have a pic, but ive seen those on old school gm trucks, i like think its pretty nice. just stay away from orange with a black stripe, itll look like a dodge 8O

go find last months Truckin' mag, the whole issue was centered arount the C10 pickups. aka ur body style GMC. u can reorder it off their site. there were tooooooooons of C10s. ive got some pics, if u want ill post them.

I'd love to do that as atruck project...I'd say layers of styrene to get the wheel well flares and then bondo and sanding to smooth it out. :D

Thanks for the comments guys - I know I work on mustly trucks but heck - i love 'em!! :P The next thing i'm going to do soon is try and turn my f-150 into a F350 Super Duty Truck(double tires on the back axle) 8) which is going to be my first time that i'll mess around with body molding (epoxy putty which i have to order online. :wink: ) it will be mustly putting on the rear fenders so i'll buy a new f-150 body to do this one. If any one ever tried that b4 please show me a pic. Anyways the tires on the GMC were from the orginal kit - i just cut up one of my old xmod rims to get the center piece and drill a hole on the model's rims, then i glued that center piece on it. i'll take a pic of it later. Oh yeah, i'm up in Inglewood CA. but i also work over in West LA exacee28.
