First, you find the wheelbase of your model. If it fits on the chassis without any modification, that's good. If it doesn't, figure a way to extend the chassis. Be creative.
Next, you fabricate a front clip. Make it so that the body is at the height you want it. This clip can be made from plastic, wood, or even metal. Again, use your creativity.
Now, you find where you want the rear clip to be. Mark this, and connect the rear clip to the body. Spacers may be needed to bring the clip to the desired position. Test this position; make sure the body is even with the chassis.
And you are done. Hope this helps. If any clarification is needed, I'll try to help you to the best of my abilities.
+1

I'm having trouble on mounting my 1963 Mustang to my chasis. If you could show how you mounted your car, it would be helpful. :)
I've got one coat of clear to go then I'll polish it for a good shine. Finished glass and lense work pics tommorrow.

Now that is really sweet. Got to love a black car. Good job on the paint.
It was. I'm on my 1st coat after wet sanding now. Once that's dry and cured I'll clear coat it then mount the windsheild and lenses.
nice :D ....is that an unpainted mini-z body??
Wat setting is that on? Scion???

After 3 coats of black over 2 coats of primer. Still needs a little sanding, a couple more coats and then the clear.

Very nice mounting. I love those rims. Make sure you do a clean paintjob, and it will be about perfect as you could get it.
perfect job !!!!!!
Dude, not cool, I wanted an FD but nobody had any in stock during the Xmas season (I settled for an AE86). *grumble*
Good luck, the FD is a nice looking shell and if you can fix up the front end it will be a great looking shell.
That looks like it'll turn out awesome!
Can you show how you did the mounts? Thanks. :)
Very good job so far! Mounting work looks really nice and clean.
Hope this turns out well. :)
