Hi all this is my 1st xmod a gen 1 Scooby andd my 1st post.
Excuse the crappy camera phone pics :(
I wanted to turn it into a rally car like all good scoobs should :)
I got the car cheap as Halfords (car acces shop in the UK) were clearing them out at £25 each and all the upgrades were half list price, so me and a mate cleand out all our local halfords superstores of every thing except cars :)
I did the steering mod, added stage 2 motor, full ball race, carbon upper chassis, 4wd and the suspension upgrade. next on the list is a carbon drive shaft. Maybe a fet upgrade.
The sticker set was an ebay purchase of 1/24th tamyia Impreza WRC decals.
Its running on 7.2v li poly cells converted to a saddle pack and velcroed on the sides.
Will take some better pics at some point. of the chassis and battery mods. I also have an evolution Scoob which I plan to do up to a similar spec and get some currnet WRC stickers.

good luck finding an STI in stores. uve searched to replicate my 1:1 sti but no luck.
try atomic mods.com they sell bodies and you might have some luck if they are not sold out.
Secondarily, right now 25 UK pounds equates to roughly 51 US Dollars. Thats before shipping.... which can be expensive too. Not as cheap as you first thought, eh? Always take into account exchange rates or you are in for a pricey headache when you get to the checkout.

Lo all since I posted this I have got an EVo scoob and an MINI Z M010 AWd scoob aswell.
The Mini Z is gonna stay stock but the Evo Scoob has had a bit done to it :)
Heres My Evo with all the decals done.
Here it is beside my Gen 1.

Great looking. It would look cooler if the decals were Subaru, but the 555 is still killer. 8)

Yes; he must have posted during the trouble we had a while back. Everyone who registered, and posted, didn't get that post counted. Actually, everyone who posted during that time, didn't get a point added to their post count.

That's kinda cool. Looks like a real professional sponsored rally car now :P
u should transfer the body from the gen 1 chassis 2 an evo chassis. it would fit on a chassis without any spacer on it. u could then get the kit from radioshack 2 raise up the car, it did wonders 4 my chassis, made it handle alot better. it misses most of the little rocks that b4 would make it flip. also mayb some knobby tires or at least some thicker tread would make it look better in my opinion. good work on what youve got though.
There not many stores selling in the UK anymore just Independent hobby sores I reckon your best bet is eBay though.

yea thanks for that i didnt take the time to look at that thru a currency converter.
