I havent been messing with Xmods in a while...The other night I got all of my stuff out and got one running.
The trucks were lame to me. The AWD was grinding, and would barely move. So I got a old chassis running. I wish I had a few more of them. :(
Anybody have an old Civic body? I want one so bad. I wanna make a replica of my car.
Anyways, I started working on a DONK. The only body I really have left if the Camaro. I put the truck Dubs on it. The body will be hinged in the front. Also, the rear clip will be lengthened, and the body will flip upwards (like a funny car, but it will flip up the opposite way).
Here's how it will sit.
Im hoping I can make the 6th cell fit back on this chassis, with the body, since its being raised.
This used to be the RSX chassis, 6 cell. It was gold/black and slamed.
Hmm..I kinda like that black and gold idea.
But no, the red is supposed to be behind the wheels. On some real cars people put these colored mesh screens behind the rims. I think its to help keep brake dust from getting on their rims.
You should cut out the space between the spokes.

I don't know if I'm going to keep it red and add some black and two tone it, or do a wild paint job like you would see on a real donk.
I was thinking about copying a paint job that I've seen around here in Memphis, a bright green with black checkers that turn into flames at the back. Or I may have it murdered out (flat black everything)
