haha i might try that...once i get one. thing is though, where i live if there is any ice, its kind of melted...and then the xmod will most likely have a few electronics on it...
you can race on ice like me, just attach some really small tacks on the bottom of the tires about five on each. and AWD. with a stage 1 high speed motor upgrade(not stage 2, to little torque).
ok no ramps then. i actually dont even have an xmods yet. i should be getting one for christmas or so. if i get $50 before then im not even gonna wait.
Dunno if you could make it any stronger because the way the axle goes together is with this fairly narrow pin (the only way to secure the axle around the differential)...so unless you've got your hands on some titanium (or other harder substance than steel that you know of), and machining equipment, it'd be kinda hard to reinforce.
if you want to break something, then yes go over as many ramps as you want. xmods weren't meant to take the immediate ipact of all their weight, some people said their rear axles busted when they took theirs off of a ramp.
do what you want though, i'm just warning you, ok?
yeah, plus theres not really any kind of rallying tire, add to that the fact that dirt could get practically anywhere, and the xmod wouldn't be very pretty, or in working order after a minute or two of off-road conditions. sorry.
These things are way too low for rally racin.mine hops off the ground when i hit little pieces of road sand in my driveway.

what if i had a carbon fiber frame or axle or whatever. that would work i guess then
no ramps for me then. maybe theres something i could do to make it stronger...
