Hey techno! I have seen your great pics at the hobby shop online site. Your track is amazing. I am a avid mini racer, right now a xmod with plans for lithium. When do you race and what time. I might have to try driving one of those mini zs and see how much better they handel than xmods.
fo sho bro! I'll give you a holla when i'm headed up that side! I googled the driving directions and it's like 24 mins or 17.3 miles away from my home. I'll be sure to pack my xmods on my next trip home.
hey if you want drop me an email im only like 30 mins south from there maybe you can dust off your xmod too
:!: Thanks a billion Techno!!! They have races every Saturday from 1-6pm - 8) that's great!! I think they're not too far from my home either so the next time i'm home i'll definately be dropping by!!
http://thehobbyshoponline.com/
they have a out door track you can practice on for free
I've only seen 1 place with that name and i haven't had a chance o visit it yet - can you pm me witht that address if you have it? if not i look it up.
well they have a place to run 1:10 called the hobby shop and they also run 1:28 in the winter some time in oct
:? Does anyone live in Dayton Ohio - specifically near Huber Heights? I would love to try out the race scene - I got xmods and 1/10 scale r/c's just aint got nobody to challenge. :( I'm mostly in L.A. cali but i do take off a couple of days to go home in Ohio and relax - i would mind finding someone in my area to race and maybe make a video of it too!
still setting up and looking for racers in ther area 1:18 and smaller
unfourtunatly im in cincinnati ohio if you ever find your way down this way your more than welcome to drop in and there are a few mini-zers in columbus area tomthumbs used to hold races you can check around im sure they would be glad to have you race with them

RCP?
What is this? Everyone posting mentions it...
But what I'm talking about, is a nice foam-thingy, it's so nice...I always can't resist poking it with a screwdriver...lol, sorry to all the floor-foam-thingy-lovers! (don't quote that...and make fun of me about it...)
The same thing? You've never raced on RCP. And, the rails, are amazing, anyway.
*lift both eyebrows, then lift just right one*
So you buy them off of Radioshack, for hundreds and hundreds, or thousands of bucks!?
My dad has some of the stuff for my shop (workshop) downstairs, the stuff in the shop is the exact same thing, and its 25 cents per piece (repeated)...
A piece=one sq ft (with puzzle-like, fit-together-sides)
 8O
johngray and pipin email me at techno@isoc.net
the weather is great im setting up today
and the price was alot... but worth it until you have raced on RCP you would never know
WOW!
That's...a lot of money...lol...so many mini-z's...do you buy the sets for like $200 (really overpriced) or just buy the floor stuff for like 25 cents per piece @ Home Depot?
Where on John Gray? I live no more then like 2 minutes from John Gray and Winton
fairfield is across the street im near johngray where colerain and fairfield meet you can try your drift car if you want i am setting uo a drift coarse/modified oval starting thurs day thru sunday as long as the rain holds off drop me an email im on vacation this week so im open to any time
can I run my 1/10th scale drift car on it? seems like it would be a fun time. I live in the fairfield area, where are you located?
here is some more of the largest track i have made it uses most of all the wide L track that I currently have thinking about getting another wide L set just to open more possibilities I need more turns and heck I can make even longer straits
