unfortunately, i'm on teh other side in Mass. i made sure mine can be easily downgraded back to 4 cell. i soldered in a pair of attached pins on the middle wire (similar to the pins on a computer motherboard) so i could choose to plug in the 2 cell holder or a hard drive jumper

Tony,

All you have to do is cut the middle wire that seperates the two packs and run the 5th cell holder in series. make sure all batteries are the same, not like these crazy people running 9v batts as their 5th cell.. :D

i did a 6 cell last nite and i ran it in my living room for 10+ minutes wiht no problem other than crazy speed and lots of flipping on the uneven carpet. the only other problem is my steering chatters but a very light nudge on the front wheels stops the chatter. annoying but it doesn't seem to be hurting it. can't wait to take it out to the nearby school yard

Hey TYPEZERO..

Welcome to our own league of our own, of 6 cell speed integration.. Im glad Im not the only one with 6 cells as Im sure there are more to follow from mimicry.. Lots of people degrade the idea, but dont know what theyre missing. Wish we could have a friendly drag race sometime. I live in Cali, where do you live? :D
