Is it ok to combine NiMh and NiCads together on an xmods simultaniously? I'm running a 6-cell all on NiMh, but I am curious to know if it's ok to have my 5th and 6th cell as NiCads. Im too cheap to buy anything more than a two pack since RS has jacked me for so much already. Will my car blow up? And whats up with these twin turbos from megatech for MiniZ's? i heard they work for xmods as well and dump out up to 30% more power forward n reverse...

DEFINITELY NOT!!! In fact, if you read your manual that came with the car, it tells you never to mix different battery types. 8O
it will somewhat work, but i dont think its good to mix nicads and nimh's. Its like mixing apples and oranges..
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! BAD IDEA!!! Most NiMh batts are a higher capacity (more mA than NiCd) And since the 5th & 6th cell upgrades wire the batts in series it can cause over heating problems and maybe worse, maybe even a short.
