I just finished reading"Video Of My 4CELL Xmod with My Redline Series Motor.." string and dudes this is such BS. RCing is supposed to be fun not a pecker contest to see who has the biggest and fastest motor or who is cheating who. Yeah I like to go fast, and even race often...but that's where it stops...period. the two in that string (I am sure we all know who they are) are what make RCing very UN-enjoyable. Guys you wanna hash out what happened in the '90s create another forum outside of here. This if for xmod discussion, (I am sure the creator and moderator of this site would agree) it's to HELP eachother with ideas and yeah to show off what we've done, not get pissed off because someone has something better or claimes to.
that's all I have to say on that matter

Well said, Outlaw34. Personally I would love to have either one of these motors, but the prices they are running on EBay is ridiculous in my opinion. The motors, at least NML's (haven't looked at Purespeed's price yet), were auctioning at 57 bucks. I am not paying more for the motor than I did for the car, unless I am competing for money.

TX = Transmitter AKA remote
RX = reciver
uhh, this may sound stupid but what do tx and rx mean?
Just like in real cars it takes power to move things for ex it take less power to move smaller rims and only to of them instead of 4 but in you have added torq fro the spinnbrush upgrade you may wnat AWD for better handleing and to balance out the extra power

are you talking about an annt. for the TX or RX? if it's the RX thrn I took an annt. off my old 1/10th scale corvette and bent a loop for the screw and a bend for the mounting point. if it's for the TX then you'll have to search for a larger Annt. for it online. the RX annt. has given me greater range on my car tho.

I am very sorry for all of you to be involved in this situation. I honestly posted my own video thread, not to brag but to contribute to this Xmod Forum. Right now, I have a zillion more videos, but Im afraid it will cause more jealously or hatred against me.
I got into Xmods the day my cousin(radio shack employee) told me they had them, thinking it was going to be for pure RC excitement , and enjoyment, not to be harrassed..
Once again, if the other party would just leave me alone and let my life be know matter what I do, there will be no more childish problems to deal with.. Its very simple. He leaves me alone and I will leave him alone.. He doesnt interfere, I wont interfere.. :(
ohh yea outlaw34 that replacement antenna how did u do that and how much did it cost?? and about your motor could you tell me how u did it i have heard that that crest motor does have a lotta torque?? im not very experinced with this kinda stuff and needed ideas and help im also planning on racing a friend and i want to win this one......thanks

i didnt notice a whole lot of top speed loss... but i did notice the gain in handeling (sp) etc
with me it all depends on the gears and suspention you use with it.
I have the AWD setup and mine still flys as well as hugs corners hard
personally I haven't noticed a speed drop myself but then that's me.
I love the AWD kit it's great for road raceing.
since its all about helpin.......... i was wonderin if it is worth it to put an awd kit i have heard that it does give power but you lose speed is this true?? :?:
