I've stripped a couple screws easily (tried hard not to) but when you're swapping parts so often it's bound to happen... i actually fixed it accidentally last night when soldering. heat the stripped screw up with a good soldering iron until the plastic around the threads becomes soft...back it out and put it in a few times to rethread it while its soft and then let it harden. has worked on 2 of em so far

Re: stripped screw trick/fix

great idea TALON!! What i usually do is put a little of some krazy glue on the screw and then screw it in. i wait about 5 minutes and then unscrew it and then put a little more krazy glue and then re-crew it in until it start to tighten up again..usually works for minor stripped screw holes.
