canon video cam battaries

i was looking at my dads camera today and the batt pack is li-ion :) and there aaa so you could just put them in the stock batt holders could'nt you :?:

Ya, right. :roll:

A 9V battery is the worste choice for high discharge applications like RC's.

9V batteries are designed for low discharge, and long life. Like smoke detectors, AM/FM radios.

I suspect that you wired 2 9V batteries in series, still giving the baord 9V and not 18V. :wink: The board may look like it runs OK on 9V, but the life of that board will be greatly reduced.

well man about a week ago i had my xmod mustang running on two 9 volts thats right i said two and it HAULED i mean it was BAD FAST but i changed it back cause i ruined a set of tires from peeiling out so much hehehe

7.4 should be all u should put into ur board, and fets only fry if u have a really hot motor

heh na i think the xmod board can handle 4 cells; its the fets that you should be worried about

ijust checked the voltage and for i think 3 batts its 7.4 volts so would four fry anthing :?:

i'm prety sure they're rechargeable but i don't know the voltage

I'd do a little more research...

1. cell voltage
2. discharge rate
3. how to charge? are they rechargable?

the worst case scenario is that you'll put four aaa li-ions in and put 14.8 volts to your board. :( That's bad.

The likely possibility is that you've found a really low discharge cell that is meant for long life...not speed. :wink:
