what you need:
small rubber bands like a nickle size
step 1 (lowering front): first take off the body on the evolution cars look on the bottom towards the front there should be 2 screws stickin out one on the left and one on the right. put the rubber band over one screw and pull the rubber band to the front of the car. after that pull the rubber band up and over the car and there should be a screw by the springs. if u push the wheel up the screww will go up with it. wrap the screw around that and go towards the other spring on the oppostite side. do the same around the screw then pull it down under the car and put the rubber band over the screw thats sticking out. now put the body back on and look at the car the front should be lowered about a milimeter.
step 2(lowering back):this is the easy one take off the body (duhh) then on the back side theres 2 springs again put the rubber band over one spring and pull the rubber band to the other spring and put it over. now put the body back on and u should see ur car is lowered.
this is good for taking pictures or showing off. you can drag race but cannot take turns well.
thanks
color0 did it. search in the tuts section

just enough so it is still drivable
is it possible to slam a generation 1 ? if so plz write a tutorial

Or you could just remove the springs completely.....it takes about 2 minutes and it looks great for photoshoots.......
ok everybody this IS JUST FOR LOOKS OK U CANT RACE WITH IT UNLESS U WANNA MESS UP UR SUSPSENION ok got it clear ight thanks
when i said what i said, he didn't say that yet.
(read it twice, it's confusing :D )
Well I was hoping that is would get better cornering if I lowered it, by a little bit.
ITS FOR LOOKS DUDE!!! he said it many times b4. for pics or whatever

now why would you want to go lowering your chassis completely? if you intend on racing, sure you might get some handling benefits but wouldnt you savage your chassis? You must be racing on some extra smooth surfaces..but yea, monoshock
The monoshock could work for lowering...i've heard it increases handling by keeping both wheels inline with the ground...
Otherwise i would be lowering my stuff too..but im concerned about the clearance issues
it does lower it for looks temporarily.
de de durrrrr
if you wanted to lower the body, go into the tut section

Man, I thought it would be cooler than that. I'm lookin for ALL-AROUND lowering of the CHASSIS and not JUST the body. I give this topic a big fat :x :x :x
No, its just like crompressing them normally.
Wouldnt that frig up your springs?
its good for a temporary lowering, but not for racing. you can do the same on gen 1's, getta dental ruber band and string it at teh top screw of the fron shocks, and the the rear shocks.

A little confusing, but from what I understand, you are placing a rubber band over the springs.... If this is true, this KILLS suspension.
