OK there are three sarts to your shocks, one is the male part (this has the sticks sticking out of both ends) There is the Female part (this is what the stick from the male part slides into) (sorry if this makes you squeemish) and then there is the spring (self explanitory) take 2 shocks apart and mount the female parts the way you normally would. Then rotate the inward towards each other so that they end up end to end on the inside of the rear knuckles. (they should stay this way on their own. Finally, put a dabe of superglue where the two female parts meet each other just to make sure its secure. AND YOUR DONE! THATS IT, HAVE FUN EXPERIMENTING!

its the "constant" in the experiment. the results I came out with is that the rear end lkes to get loose easier, o I should have mentioned this is for gen1.
super gluing plastic isnt experimenting, its permanent.
I have done a similar mod to my xmod, but i sanded down the female parts slightly, placed a small peace of metal in the hole and put a spring over it, therefore making a complete shock. If you want some photos dont hesistate to ask
for drifting, and for fun, and why not? its an experiment, and a fun one at that.
why would you want to lock the rear suspension?

 either he was talking about pop sarts or he meant parts lol
