heres what i did i took my xmod in stock form added 6th cell awd (i have more mods but i had removed them) i plugged in a 7.4 volt li-po battery pack into the 6th cell port added my regular rechargables this thing was flying for about 10 mins. then it stopped(motor fried) it could have blew past any r/c

You have the 3 speed? Cuase I've seeen the 3 speed Savage's hit 70mph in more than one occasion... Mine will over heat first if it's in florida... but if it's below 80, who knows?

Your mod cannot beat any RC for one simple reason.

You fried your board, xmods dont do well over 7.2v.

Ive heard revos are fast, but I do poop of a 3.3 running so rich it didnt overheat, so a leaner revo can give me a good race.

that was on june 5, start of summer 8O
trust me well get from 100 to 120 on summer
dont mean to revive this but its 105*f(but it feels like 115 dam humidity) in florida right now so its hotter here lol

I had it, and here in Monterrey its more hot than Florida, at this moment we are about 95°F
