All ideas are fine (;
if you have an evo car you should use a stage1 motor because it offers more torque rather than top speed provided with a stage 2. or if you already have a stage 2 motor you can use the orange gears to drift.
choices or batterys. the higher mAh rating the longer it lasts and the more power it should give. i vary all types or mAh ratings but find it doesnt realy help performance but it does affect how the battery drains and how long it lasts. alkalines will decrease gradualy while rechargeables will sustain performance until near the end of the charge then aruptly change in performance and that is when you need to charge them. the radioshack rechargeables would be a good choice because its relatively cheap $25 (comes with charger and 8 AAAs) while the one i bought was $60 :cry:. The radioshack batteries wil pay for itself over and over and is very cost worthy if you use lots of AAAs (not only in an xmod but you can use it in other things too).
for the evo car theres not much you can do except install a 4.5 degree tie rod and adjust the type of springs to your personal delight. if you have a gen1 you can do a tight turns mod.
hi guys
i just bought my xmod yesterday so to be able to drift !!!! what stage motor and upgrades i do i need
one more question what typ of buttries you suggest i should use to get some power out of it ?????
and my xmod does not have allot of steering trow what can i do to increase steering on it
I agree with xmodkidd33, except instead of getting the drift kit, just make your own, by putting elmers glue on some spare tires. The stage 2 motor upgrade also helps out a lot. And i can do custom paint (just look at the lancer in my sig). Welcome to the forum!!
If you want your Evo to drift (Like in your name), I would suggest getting AWD, bearings, the drift kit, and the suspension upgrade. Refer to color0's "Drift Bible" to hone your drifting techniques.
hm... if u want speed, i suggest u do a 6 cell and maybe the spinbrush hybrid if u ahve one...
uber clearance would be sick...
Looks like he got it when they were on uber clearence. I got my Lancer months previous.
where did you find a lancer evo?

Bearings and AWD are a must IMO. The rest are optional performace upgrades.
Bearings will extend the life of the car, the AWD will make it much easier to control.
