Okay.

I decided to paint the windows on the 4Runner black. So, I began to paint the inside of the window, to make it shiny.

Slapped on the primer, and then the black.

Whoops.

Took of the tape, and guess what? You see the primer, not the black.

Easy remedy, just paint the outside. But it is not as shiny.

So, all in all, if you are painting the inside of a clear window:

Do not use primer.

Hope I helped on keeping your windows shiny! :P

um.... my question to you is y would u even use primer??? there is no need for it. at least not on windows. primer in the real world of painting actual cars is to make one solid color where the body filler and the actual paint come together so that when u actualy paint it is the same and u cant tell where the body filler was and the origional paint was.
