Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone else is into photography as much as I am. Being as how my dads a profesional photographer, I've grown up around camera's and use his everyday.
I currently own his old Nikon D100. Guess thats my B-Day present, didn't get anything else. I often use his Nikon D2x. If anyone wants to see specifics on these two camera's, just say so. In my prefference, Nikon is the better quality camera, for the price.
I often use a 28-70meter lense. I forget what my other lenses specifics are, I'll check later and get back to you guys. And I also thought I would just share a few of my pictures I have taken in the past month.
(most of these are high quality pics, and if you maximise the screen, you will see the great detail these camera's really can do. No flast was used on any of these pictures. The lense flare was meant on purpose.)

This last picture is the flight line at our local R/C Airplane Club. Which would be Skymaster's. Great club by the way. So fun to fly planes. I believe this sunday we are going flying, so I'll try to get some nice pictures.
Warning/disclamer. I am not responsible for the loss of your well used time of searching computers, for whatever it may be you search for. Lol. Sorry for wasteing your time. Thanks for looking. Comments? Critisism? Anything would be greatly appretiated.

Psh, ricers have no fear! And no sense of embarrassment where I live (chrome tail lights and table spoilers all around!)
I love ricers; like when they miss gears, or when their cars stall in the middle of traffic, or when parts suddenly fly off, or when I can turn, but they can't since their sound systems weigh twice what the car weighs and they cut their stock springs. Also it's great when they talk about their car's engine and how awesome VTEC is... even though they haven't a clue as to what it actually is and does.
Ricers FTW!

Oh and here's a pic I took for photo class:

Its an LCD flashlight shined up through a Sobe bottle filled with smoke and a little water at the bottom.

I'm more than well aware of that (Infact, I preach it all the time). But, clearly the owner of that car was trying to sneak form in there..... and he failed epically at it.
NO NO, those flames are pure function! They inspire fear into the rice boys.

It's called function over form... lol. If I remember right, my dad's camaro had a similar style hood scoop. Though, the intake of his BBC was sealed to the hood, so, the one time he got stuck in the rain, he tossed the hood scoop plate over the opening to block it, but didn't have time to switch air cleaners to the one that didn't seal up to it. Every time he got onto the throttle, you could see the hood being sucked down by the engine sucking on the hood.
These were some pics on my dad's pc of that Chevelle I found months ago.
Also finally tracked down the builder of that badass '50 Mercury, thanks to the HAMB http://www.greaterdakotaclassics.com/

I don't care much for that thing coming off the hood. Looks like an after thought.
Good photos though!
The thread that will never die  .
I like the Chevelle, but not the hood scoop. It looks too boxy and angular or something...

I frickin' love that Chevelle. One of the few paint schemes that make me want to keep my CST/10 orange... flames ftw

You have an annoying Miata too?
My brother just bought a Miata for a winter car, white Miata with black wheels and snow tires. For a RWD, it handles extremely well in the snow, perhaps the only condition at which a Miata doesn't suck. Thankfully I only need to see it when he stops by.
What's so annoying about a Miata?
I think they are so damn big (and heavy).. But then again, the bruise on my back tells me I NEED a bigger car...

Copy cat. I know you got that cuase your jealous of my pentax..
I'll get the shots devoloped next week when I have money.. Unless I spend it on new headlights and a Glo Starter for the Revo..
Because my jerk meter hasn't hit max yet....@Dustfinger, Pwnt.
No, just playing.
So Texan, do you develop your own photos or do you just send them off to the local Walgreens or whatever? Because I have actually never done any film developing, and would like to hear from some one who does.
Gonna try and see if I can learn to do it at my school's photo lab, even though I'm not in photoclass (plus 80% of the kids in it have already told me I don't need it...).
If not, to the walgreens I go.

You are going from digital to film now?
cheezman I think texans camera is digital but has a large lense.
anyhow its very nice 8O
and texan how much was it :?:
(texan please correct me if im wrong about the camera)
Nope, it's film, 35mm means it's a film camera.
DSLR's are the large old-school looking digital cameras, where mine is a SLR.
Cheez-Yup, for the special stuff Ill use film. It's a great camera from what I'm reading, and tons of features on it.. The lense that is on it (came with it) is a 28-90 mm lense.

Just playing around in Photog' class:

Yes, boredom runs rampid in this class.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!

 Yes, I made my tree purple. I thought it would make a cool effect. Can't wait to take these three into photoshop and really see what they can be. :)
Nice bunch of shots, Texan. Thanks for digging out the grave. :)

its not finished unfortunally... only like 95% of the way there. its a modified pti goliath chassis with tlt-1 axles under it. hpi mt2 wheels and tires, traxxas driveshafts, threaded rod 4 links, novak xrs esc. its real basic and simple, but its something ive been messing with for the past 8 months or so. i plan to move to a better chassis in the future as well as making new links out of carbon fiber arrow shafts. it currently sits under a hpi bronco body. painted orange
as far my dogs, thanks. the little one is a 2yr old miniature pinscher and the other one is a 3yr old doberman pinscher. sweet dogs. theyre well trained and super friendly
if i had some outdoor shots of my r/c rock crawler, id post them... otherwise its pics of it on a table
Then get it outside on some rocks, in action! What kind/base crawler is it?
Nice dogs. ;)
i dont think it counts since the flag was made in china. i thought it was cute though lol... he noticed the flag was warm from my dryer and hopped right in. heres another shot of him as well as a shot of my other dog

does digital photgraphy count? i capture a few rather artsy shots while playing Forza Motorsports 2

...isn't it illegal to put the nation's flag on the ground? Or is washing it and folding it up a different scenario? :?~Junk ET

washed my flag and left it folded up on the living room floor. went to do some errands and when i came home, i discovered my dog curled up under it. guess he liked it since it was still warm from the dryer. either way, it made for some good pics
Very nice pictures!
I think that's a squirrel...looks too much like one from the face.

Ford GT macro shots

That one picture...

And a Chipmunk. (or ground squirrel, I don't remember, nor care to remember)
Post em' Evo! You've got some good shots!
Nice Tex. I drive an '06 Frontier, lol. (Same age as you, I'm 16.)Maybe I should get some of my pics up.

Once I can drive, I should be into this. I've taken a few good pictures but I don't get many chances to take them. And my camera is a piece of (insert word here).

12 oclock last night, Weatherbug reported a fog advisory until 9 a.m.

I looked out my window, and it was already getting pretty foggy.
My girlfriend told me it was worse this morning, but it was my day off so I was still asleep.
Here's a few of my shots:
These pictures were taken for RedSXmodder; opperator of Team Redmade Motors.

Dust.
My down-state/home-cities (if that makes sense..) fireworks were last night, so I decided to bring along the Nikon D2X and the 70-200mm lense. Well, unfortunatly, me being me forgot the [censored] tripod, so these were all handheld with the help of a parkbench to rest the end of the lense on. So, they'll be a little blurry, but I'll try to capture better ones over the coming weeks.
This is my second time ever shooting fireworks. Comments and critisism is encouraged! :D

Go look at the guys who can make more power on the motor alone with pump gas with 30 year old engines.
We're making fun of ricers right now, not tuners.

Yeah, but you guys are talking about the wannabe losers. Look at the guys who make purpose built racer 350Zs and Skylines. Where they do crazy engine swaps and mods, spend hours on the track and dynos to tune it just right.
Not to mention they get 600+ horsepower and use them as daily drivers.
I love ricers; like when they miss gears, or when their cars stall in the middle of traffic, or when parts suddenly fly off, or when I can turn, but they can't since their sound systems weigh twice what the car weighs and they cut their stock springs.
I just dig how the right pedal on the grocery grabber GMC does all the talking, while walking over the rice boi next to you.
And that's only 190 hp.
