so wats up with the random posts around here. for example go into the general xmods forum and there are a cuple in there like the im just dropin in to say hi. thats completely unnessacary. and there are some others in there. i dont kno if it makes anyone els mad but it makes me mad cuz its just in the wrong section and annoying.

Alot of forums have a section for welcome posts. We do not.
It is not that big of a deal for a newcomer to make a post introducing himself. Lets be a good group of people and welcome him in.
In the post you are talking about, there is a link to his website that shows pics of all his cars.
Sound like a general xmod topic to me. 8)
So you made a thread to rant about random posts? Wouldn't it just have been easier to let the other threads go, and not have said/done anything?
As Evotcrawler said, they're typically newer members and don't know where else to put it. If that is such a problem for you confront them nicely and ask them to next time put their thread in the proper section. Simple as that.
If you want to do something about it confront people.
