For any conversation on projects, it almost always leads to "(X person) did that on XMW years ago). Usually on break through projects, or like the dude bringing up cell phone batteries over at XMS: http://www.xmodsource.com/forum/showthread.php?p=195537

Now that XMW will allow you to actually surf the site, who else cares to sort of build a history of major projects and break threws on here? Like for example, Following along CXP's old posts finding when he started doing hinged doors and hoods, and custom upper decks (now common place).

The magnetic shocks of Nivlacs, and the 9v NOS of BlownXmods. All of which are known now, but not of their start.

Just a randon midnight idear.

Re: Chronically xmods

Would it be possible to have an archives-type thing setup? Or even in the Xmods Docs part of the site?

It wouldn't happen to be for sale by any chance?

EDIT:
Chino's Original Xtruck wasn't posted here (it was on AM's forum), but it was pretty damn sick....

Must see! Crawling has been very slow this year, no pun intended

Slipped my mindless mind! Will have to do it.

Next friday is the start of my xmas break, I'll have time to start digging up then.

I'd put the antenna tut at the top of my list since I use it continuously for my mini-z antenna replacements.

Listing the threads I can think of

Nivlac's mag shocks
Gyrates 18 wheeler
Xmodification's early projects
Color0s experimental drift cars, like his front engine car
DMX: never had enough cash! But now that the firebird is sold, once the CST10 is finished I may start it. Gotta finish others though
Cowboy's Goat and X-maxx
any of the early crawlers.
blown's cars
xmodist's cars
aznballaz's cars
PH2T's cars
CXP's early stuff.
The Turbo Cap pwnage

Thread: Twin Mustang GTR Project
Major Participants: TexanIdiot25, Xmodpimp, 4x4daddy.
Reason to be mentioned:
One of the more interesting threads ever on Xmodworld, with over thirty four pages worth of history! The thread was started on April 25, 2006, and ended on August 21, 2006.

I'll think of a ton more later; too tired. Lol.

Cheers,
Kyle.

Start going through the search function and use your noggin...bumping old threads would be fun at this point.

Re: Chronically xmods

I think it would be a great idea. So many of the once amazing ideas began here. Few people actually know how they started.

How would we go about doing this?
