100 MPH Xmod

I have a guy on another forum talking about his new Xmods....he says his friend has one that goes 100 MPH.

I just called BS on him.....waiting for his proof.

Just curious, wasnt there a thread here a long time ago about the fastest Xmod? How fast did it go?

Well, if the fastest 1/10th scale RC is 160ish mph I'd say his xmod is definitely very fast.

I doubt that's ground speed but a dyno?

Is it possible he may be mistaking the Tamiya Speed Checker's 99KMH for MPH?

Even if it is only 99KPH, that's still one fast as hell Xmod. If my math is correct, 99KPH = ~61MPH while 100MPH = ~160KPH.
