Tamiya Putty Quick Type

How long does it take to dry? The box says 5-6 hours and its been 6 hours already and its not even close to dry yet. I covered the holes on the scion trunk where the wing goes. I will leave it overnight and hopefully it dries completely so I can sand it and paint.

well i just realized that im a retard. I used only the white putty and not both :oops: . I thought they were just different colors. So i took off the putty that was there and i mixed the brown with white and now its been over a hour and its starting to drie. :D

i live in nyc. its been really hott lately. like today is 94 degrees. im going to follow what 4x4daddy said and put it in a bin. hopefully that helps. how about putting it in the fridge? lol

I have same issue problem you have in my old days. So I storage the body in my plastic sealed bin over night and in morning complete dry. Maybe you could try that....

were do you live? i know that i used it here in florida on a really humid day and it didnt dry i had to take it all off which was a pain its alot like paint you have to have the perfect enviorment

what is wrong? I let my car sit overnight and my putty hasnt dried at all. Its been a total of 14 hours and no progress. Is there any steps I can follow to make it drie?

I kept a fan next to it since I added the putty and its still blowin. Imma leave it overnight.

Give it over night, or set a blow-drier next to it. Like a foot away. Dries enough in less than an hour.
