Hi all,

Welcome to my project B1G R1G thread it started off life as this model:

A 1:28 scale model of a rig (slightly smaller that then size used by coolcar25th), I did some playing around with trying to get XTruck parts to fit and ended up with this:

Now unfortunately due to the smaller scale model it just wasn't possible to get a decent look, the XTruck stuff was just to big:

So this was when I decided to mix up the scale and use the SSMT rims and tires:

This was a look I was much happier with!

After all who else has an off roading rig! Also decided to throw in my first HS-55 servo conversion:

Also knew I wanted lith power so I had my man BLT456 hook me up with a set of his custom Li-Ions:

Then I set to work on cutting my AWD shaft down to size and shaping it so that I could put a 4WD kit into the rear axles:

So what I had now was a pretty mean chassis but still a bone stock cab! So that got sent to Bondo for some custom paint work:

The flame job is just bad ***! He also did the custom grill work for me!

Whilst Bondo was working on the paint I went about putting my custom CLL kits together, there are two of them:

One is on the back of the cab, it has 4 lights, 2 blue, 1 orange, 1 red, all 4 are always on but the blue light up more when you go forwards and the orange and red light up more in reverse so you get a really cool neon look and feel on the chassis:

The other powers the front lights but unfortunately isn't currently fully functional, you have 4 headlights, all white, then 4 more lights across the top, two red and two orange but currently only the front ones work:

This added lots and lots of wires to the interior of the cab:

Here are few more mixed shots:

and I hope you all enjoyed my project thread!

Thanks!

Its just one servo, I think the problem is the custom 4WD shaft I made for it, its slipping and catching and throwing the servo off balance, maybe I'll remove it and put two hot motors in instead....

Re: Project:- B1G R1G

I have an odd feeling that the one servo won't quite do it. Of course, I've never done a servo mod so I wouldn't really know

Any more plans for this?

Wow, very impressive. 8O

Very nice job.

How does it perform? Any chance we could see a vid of that monster in action?
