Re: new car need suggestions

Just pull out your wheel hubs and look. There's two plastic bushings in there already, which will be replaced with the metal ones. The differential in the back (where the motor transmits power to the wheels) has two also.

ok thanks but do u think i could install just 2 bearings at a time???

(buy the first two bearings install them and then buy the other 2)??

And you can't just buy 2 bearings, that would be pointless. Each wheel has two, by themselves. The kits come with 12 regular size ones and 2 drive shaft ones.

Why just 2 bearings at a time? Why would you want to tear the car down that many times?

You do know there are up to 14 bearings in an XMOD.

Blackcivic, the Evo chassis has two screws holding the motor in.

And I also say get the bearings first. Best upgrade, by far.

You mean out 2 upgrades on at one time? Yes. you can. If fact its pretty easy to upgrade more than one thing at a time becuase you already have the car taken apart.
The motor is held in with 2 screws and if you put the bearings in you have to take it out anyway to put bearings in the transmission so that is pretty easy.

Bearings are usually the best to get first. Bearings, good batteries and a better motor than the Stage 1.

Get the bearings. They are a ton smoother than the stock bushings. All my xmods have at least 4 in them.
I use the radioshack 15 minute charge batts in my cars and they work pretty good. You can find better batts but they work good enough for me.
If you can find it get the stage 2 motor. Its pretty quick and a direct replacement for the stock one. And it comes with a ton of other gears so you can change the ratio and get more speed.

Though I can't support the bearing statement, never had 'em.
