I have looked all over. How long is the Transformer car drive shaft? I cannot seem to get the AWD kits to work properly. Which seems to be a common problem from reading some of the posts on here.
Thanks very much in advance for the replies!
I guess it depends on how much you wanna spend and if you are gonna be going fast and punishing this car. Otherwise, I'd stick with stock.
Ball bearings, tires/wheels, steering set, motor. In that order.
Ball bearings......check
tire/wheels?.......check
Steering set.......needed
CF driveshaft.....check
hot motor..........needed
What about billet parts? Helpful or hoax?
Thanks black_mustanggt!

You mean driveshaft?
Yes, drive shaft and/or driveshaft. I have confirmation that it is the LONG shaft (88.5 mm).
Thanks for all your replies! My AWD is now working and I just installed metal bearings and a li-po set in it last night. Runs great! A little twitchy but super fast! :D
What should be done next?
You mean driveshaft?
both transformers use the long axel.
later T.I.M
I'm putting my vote in for the medium length shaft. That seems to be the most common.
True that! I will start shopping for a new motor in the near future. Any new hotties out there? Or suggestions?
That makes sense, black_mustanggt! I will leave it for now and see where that takes me. If I get the "need for more power" (or find some more money some where), it will be time for aluminum drive parts!

When you get a hot enough motor and start breaking parts because of it, thats when in makes sense to get billet parts.
