If you put your 6 cell battery holder int he trunk of your car, chances are you had to shave off your tailpipe, (atleast for the supra) well if you still want one, this is the thtutorial for you. (I will try making this simple fast and easy at the same time without the use of my camera due to some problems with it, i will post pics if anyone needs me to.)
Materials: - Xacto Knife
- Your Stock Exhaust Pipe
- Tube to a Febreeze bottle
- Scissors
- Super glue
Step 1: First you need to cut your exhaust pipe perpindicular from your mount on both sides of it with some scissors. BE CAREFUL TO NOT SQUEEZE TO HARD OR THE SCOSSIRS WILL GO THROUGH MAKING THE EXHAUST OVAL SHAPED INSTEAD OF A CLEAN CUT, IF YOU NEED TO USE THE X-ACTO KNIFE PLEASE DO SO. So the mount is the same width as the whole exhaust pipe as the mount is still connected hopefully. And then clean up the wholes with your X-acto knife and peel of any extra plastic that may have stretched out while we cut through our exhaust pipe with our scissors.
Step 2: Second find a bottle of Febreeze ( I used this since the tube in these bottles of air freshener are thick, durable and just the right size) how ever you may use Windex etc. if you need to. Take the tube inside of it and cut off the end about 1/2 of anch from the end. From there you can make a tip on the end to make it look realistic.
Step 3: Third your going to want to glue the febreeze tube tip to the side on which the mount for the exhaust pipe is cut straight down instead of rounded, so it faces out. (your going to end up screwing the pipe on with the flat part of the exhaust mount facing towards the rear of the car ,and the rounded part of the mount facing towards the car directly which is opposite the exhaust pipe came normally)
Step 4: Finally your going to mount this on with a stock black normal screw and you can paint it black for a CF look with a silver tip or Silver all around etc.
(This qwas my First tutorial ever made for me and i hope i helped you guys out with this, as i found out his was very cool for ppl who had 6 cells and could not fit an exaust pipe with their current setup If you need pics let me know ill try me best to get some)
