This is a collection of helpful small and fast tutorials that I have created over time. It's updated at the very least weekly, so check back frequently. All tutorials here are made by me unless noted otherwise.

Creating and using a touch-up kit for crashes

Intro: Whenever you crash your XMOD, paint from the wall gets rubbed into your body, the body chips, etc. It's not a pretty sight. Fortunately, this guide will tell you how to create a small kit that'll fit in a lunchbox to quickly remove dings and scratches in a couple minutes.

Section I: Creating the kit

1) Gather these materials: Clorox wipes (make sure they don't dry out!), nail file (I took my girlfriends) or sandpaper (high grit), Q-tips, super/krazy glue, screwdrivers, screws, and a can of clear coat.
2) If possible, add these materials: Rubbing Alcohol, some type of model putty (try Tamiya quick-type), nail polish remover, and a can of paint the same color as your car (if you painted your car).
3) Fit all the materials into a lunchbox or some type of container.

Section II: Using the kit for paint touchup

1) Using the Clorox wipes, clean the affected area and scrub hard to remove the dinged paint (bang into a white wall, and white paint will be on your car).
2) Using your nail file/sandpaper and your fingernail, try to remove as much of the offending paint as possible.
3) If the paint isn't gone, use the nail polish remover and rubbing alcohol
4) Wipe again with a clorox wipe.

Section III: Using the kit for body chips

1) Using the Clorox wipes, clean the broken part and the body thoroughly, especially the breakage point.
2) Using the super/krazy or putty, reattach the part.
3) Spray with clear coat (or if paint is missing, with the paint can too).
4) Let dry.

COMING NEXT: Creating the perfect screwdriver for the XMOD (with the one that came in the starter kit!)

Re: Eddie's 2 minute tips (updated weekly)

Thank you  . I took it to the track one day and it sure helped, other racers came to me to ask me to use it on their cars.

The PERFECT Screwdriver

This tutorial might seem a bit lame, but when traveling the XMOD screwdriver is all you might have. In truth, it isn't badly made, but there is excess metal on the tip, not allowing it to lock. What you need to do is sand it away. I have tried this and now I have one simple and compact screwdriver that fits all XMOD screws.

1) Collect your screwdriver and high grit sandpaper or a nail file.
2) Hold the screwdriver at a 45 degree angle to the sandpaper so the bars that connect to the point (there should be four of them, forming a + at the top) are touching the sandpaper.
3) Sand the side, repeating for all four until the screwdriver is more triangular in shape.
4) You might not need to do this, as my friends was already like this, but just in case you have trouble with the stock screwdriver.

Importing your car into a background (images coming soon)

1) Get your car picture (texanidiot supplied me with two images)
2) Open it in Adobe Photoshop (I used CS)
3) Using the lasso tool (or magnetic if you like that better), set the feather to 1 or 2 and turn on anti-aliasing.
4) Select around the car, trying to 'cut' away the background and leaving only the car. Don't worry about getting the curves perfectly smooth (the feather and anti-aliasing will take care of that)
5) Press Ctrl+C
6) Create a new document in a reasonable size that can hold your car image.
7) Press Ctrl+V
8) Go to your background layer and fill it with a background image or a color
9) Resize the car and the image to your fit
10) Save and upload
