Hi everyone!!
I've been reading the forums for a long time now, but this is my first post. I was wondering if there was a tutorial on how to install the spider turbo. Did I miss one, or does someone have one that's not on here?

i was testing the motor for a customer,the wires you see are longer for a different car :wink:
the spider itself is tiny

...but, in opinions, are they worth it?
I have no access to Nelly's atm and was considering the new spyder as well.
I have liths/lipos on my cars and some 25t motors.
I am not looking to fry anything...but, was trying to weigh out why I might want/need the spyder.
It's more of a security issue preventing frying I guess...but, I feel like I might be missing something.
I've read up on specs as far as nelly and stacked nelly, etc. but, please let me know if I am missing something critical other than not frying to stock FETS.

that turbo looks huge. it's gonna flip every time you turn hard.
i don't really like turbos. the only ones i would get would be nelly or v2.2
other than that, id stick with FET stacking

Yeah Yeah that's what people usually say... the turbo sucks... I know from personal expirience and I wish I had gotten a nelly.

Mine fried in my Mini Z MR02 with a stock motor and 4 AAA's to power it... yeah that's one excellant turbo there...
Next time think before you call me a liar.

i have three of them, they get a bit warm on some motors,like on this evo with liths and a 23turn by me
as you can see it was pretty undrivable :lol:
but the turbo survived and the motor is still run on a car with a spider and 4aaa's no probs
so unless you are running 7.2v and a super hot motor you will be fine :D

check at ausmicro.net...the creator of the spider turbo is on that forum. :wink:
