Minimizing the Wheel Wobble for the Xmods Gen 2 Evolution

To begin with, let's go over the materials and tools you will need to complete this modification to your Evolution (and possibly your Transformers Xmod as well).

Materials:

-1x Screw Driver (the one that came with your car will work, Though any of the proper dimensions for the screws in the car will work.)
-1x Single Hole Punch (like the 3-hole punch you used at school, but this one only makes one hole, a 3-hole punch might work if you try hard enough.)
-1x Pair of Scissors
-1x Xmods Evolution
-1x Sheet of plastic of no more than 0.08 mm thickness (One of those "No Trespassing" signs works perfect, it is what I used!)

Procedure

-We start by dissassembling one of the knuckles on the car, and leaving everything in side of it, or next to it, which ever you prefer. here in this picture I have set the parts next to it.

-Next, take the Hole Punch and punch a hole in the plastic sheeting like so.

-Now cut a square out around the hole you just punched,so that it will be easier to work with.

-The secret to how easy this is to do lies in the fact that the standard size of a hole punch is minisculely larger than the outside diameter of the axels the wheels are bolted onto. Once you have the little square with the hole in the center, simply trim down the square until it is pretty much circular and will fit inside of the knuckle like so.

-Finally reassemble the Knuckle and go test out your car.

A Few Notes on adjustments that you may find nessicary:

-if your car won't drive straight after you have done this modification to it, you likely will need to trim down the thickness of one or more of your bushings that you just added. To do this, simply take a jewelers' file and file away on the surface, testing regularly to see if the wheel will spin freely.

Thanks guys, Though to be frank, to me it seems that the best part of the whole thing is the discovery that the hole in the center of the shims was the same size as the hole that a hole puncher makes. That way, You can get ROUND holes with very little effort. Up to the point when I realized that, the hardest part was making a circular hole for the shims.

Thanks for all of the comments, if any one happens to have anything they want to add, ask, or get cleared up on, go ahead and post it, please.

As for the Washers method that was also put up by aznkevin4eva, I want to call attention to the rules of this forum: If a post on a method of a tutorial already exists, post your method as well! It can never hurt to at least try to improve on the older stuff, and you may hit on a better idea!

Of course that is sort of a summary of that rule, but the point is, that I am not trying to take away anyone from his thread, I just wanted to explain the method that I use.

;)

Bah Humbug! ;)

Honestly, by that point I was beginning to tire of writing out each step, and placing the pictures for it. So, though I won't make any excuses, I was bored. So yeah. . .

Hey, glad you guys like it, I hope if I happen to come up with anything else that those Tutorials will come out as clean as this one did.
