i think the correct pernunciation is Nurburgring... and the road course itself is 12.6 miles long... in reality it would cover about 3 full acres of land and have a rise of about 37 feet... a scale model of this size (in New Mexico) would cost about $317,000 for the dirt and concrete needed...

nah, forget that, just get really bored, a few buddies and race the 24 hours of lemans with xmods. just get plenty o' batteries

Thats not too bad... At about 2 bucks per linear foot for a 2 foot wide track of decent quality foam mat, wait nurenbourg is wider than that. Its at least 4 feet wide, that makes 2$ per linear foot.. Thats only 5280$ for the straight away alone.. Crap you will also need a seriously modded controller to control your car at those distances.. And a telescope..

Theres 5280 feet in a mile.. soo its 68640 ft divide by 25 so it equals 2745.6 ft, little over half a mile.

XXXXX with a few really simple calculations (if i am a little off with the numbers please excuse me) 13 x 5020= 65,260 divide that by 25 2,610.4 almost half a mile.

i may be off with the ft in a mile number though)

I think he's talkin about Nuremberg .. Most likely that's it. Nurburgring.. my most favorite course but I will probably never get to see it let alone replicate it. Again.. You'd need a really big place to put it in and tons of money.

Edit.. found it. It's actually named after the place it's in. It is called Norisring, and I was confused about the Nuremberg Toy Fair.

do you know how big the nurburgring is? :lol: you would need more than an entire story of your house to build the track. and you'd have to make the surface pieces flow and cooperate with elevation changes... damn, what a project. :lol:

if anyone's insanely rich with a really big house and a spare room, i'd love them to do one. think of the possibilities... 24 hours of nurburgring, in 1/28 scale with all the teams represented.

Sorry, I have never heard of what you're looking for, so I googled it, and nothing. Are you talking about Nürburgring? You could get a topographical map and recreate it, but good luck.

First you would need a ware house to put it in to build the track anywhere near scale. And you do know that the real track is 13 miles long and has around 75 turns and tons elevation changes.

ok i have never seen a full picture of the speedway so i really didnt know how big it was, but then does anyone have a recareation of a famose speedway.

you'll need a field to build it on if you plan on doing it anywhere near scale.
