I plan to play my xmods truck outdoor and sand field.
Does it really damage the truck with using open ball bearing?
Of course it is good idea to use seal ball bearing but it is pretty expensive. In order to avoid the damage with dust and sand, why dont use the stock plastic bearing? any idea?

umm... i m think the best way to clean it is .. Not Clean. Putting it into a box until playing next time. i m a lazy rc racer 8)
I m think is there any way to make the truck dust proof like HPI RS4 nad Tamiya TB01 :?:

DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT :P :P :P
Actually yes sealed would be best, but I always used open bearings. After you use it you should disassemble your truck and give it a very through cleaning. The bearings you can soak in a jar with some parts cleaner/ de-greaser (make sure it has a lid so you can shake it gently) I actually run my bearings dry or with a dry graphite lube.
Have fun!
