Re: need help for a crawler motor

well i think i dont explain well my question:
now im using a 1/18 asso r18b´s direction servo motor like a motor, and it goes good, but too slow. i know that there are a lot of people that use other kind of motors for crawling, i just want to know what motor they use for it.

i have seen tamiyas gear box, but i think it´s too big for my xmods. it´ll works good, maybe better than the motors im looking for, but i prefeer more reallistic ones.

well if someone knows something about those motors, post here.

Re: need help for a crawler motor

This should probably go in the motor section, but I guess anything with a lot of torque would work. I don't do crawlers (Drifting FTW) but I would venture to guess that more grunt is better than more speed.
