Hey guys! I pretty much have a stock car but I plan on doing the li-ion upgrade to it. My question is, what motor should I go with? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance
ps-links to where i can buy them from would also be great
One of the list on my top ten wish list is to have a car. But I think, I must learn to be skillful about the motor for the possible breakdown of it. Thanks for posting this question. It opens my mind to be care enough when I got my wish and be a responsible owner in a future.
There are numerous causes to an overheating motor, but regardless of what they're you need to never disregard it. An engine overheating can lead to many more difficulties than just becoming hot, and unlike a verify motor light being on, the difficulties can often begin instantly. It's possible to completely kill your engine by not fixing the trouble immediately. So if you would like to keep your automobile, get it fixed instantly.
I've been using a $15 falcon 7 motor from my slotcar stuff w/stock gearing and awd and my car is way faster than stock w/ about half hour to forty five minute run times. Its running the 7.4v lipo flat packs, rs bearings (ceramics on way) rs awd (atomic on way) and aluminum cvds ( fronts in front and back),w/rs rims? and tires.

i run a mabuchi 260 with 1:1 gear ratios...and im fond of the sb hybrid....but i dont get my car out as much as i used to......but both of those are easy to come by .....the mab.260 is good for high speed but not the greatest for acceleration....and the sb is good and tourquey for drifting but has a crappy top end...
